Cathy has been a Chartered Physiotherapist for 25 years, and together with a team of 6 other experienced Physiotherapists, they offer treatment for a wide variety of injuries and conditions. Appointments are available 6 days per week, from early morning to late evening ,Monday to Saturday. Treatments may include manual therapy, electrotherapy (e.g ultrasound), acupuncture, hydrotherapy, exercise rehabilitation, taping, posture re-education and advice. Cathy has a particular interest and expertise in the treatment of back pain, and being a keen rider herself, is able to offer sensible guidance and tips for self treatment of back pain. | If you plait your horse’s mane you must have had the frustration of the plaiting bands snapping just when you have finished the plait? I had this problem when doing my gelderlander’s mane so I sourced some elastic plating bands that don’t break when used for plaiting up. They are available in black, white, brown and grey and are packaged in a handy zip up bag. It is recommended that are saddles are checked every six months as horses change shape and size due to the change in seasons, work, age and condition. James offers a checking at flocking service all at your yard so there is no being without a saddle while its off being flocked. If you require a new saddle, a wide range of saddles are available to suit all horses and budgets including: Pessoa, Anky, Ideal, Black Country and GFS saddles sold as well a as range of second hand saddles sold on commission.
